The Covington

We partnered with the team behind The Port Hunter to create the branding and identity for The Covington. The restaurant features delicious food from Island farms and local fisherman. Located in downtown Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard, The Covington offers a full bar and private outdoor garden area. The Covington is the boat that struck the vessel Port Hunter in the 1918 shipwreck. For the logo we created a lettering style that bridges a gap between script and italic with references to nautical charts and boat lettering. The result is a timeless mark that exemplifies the style, personality, and quality of the restaurant. The project also included street signage, menu design, and brand collateral.
